I always want to surprise people with what I can achieve. That’s my thing. The careful balancing act. Having an eye for the vision and a head for the details.

But it’s a genuine understanding and passion for stills and motion that drives me to over-deliver because I want everyone to be proud of the job. If I’ve done my job right, by the time we’re on set, it should be fun, and the perfect environment to create great work.

You shouldn’t see my graft, but you’ll know that it's happened. I’m a producer based in Scotland with over 25 years’ experience. Before starting my own production company, I worked at some great agencies in London and Edinburgh alongside some amazingly talented people.

I’ve been helping to make beautiful images as an independent Producer since 2013, so I know how things work. For me, it’s just as important to liaise with the creative team to understand their vision as it is to keep a close eye on the budget and timescales.

Experience has taught me that no two jobs are ever the same, so pulling together the right crew is important. I regularly work with a network of gifted freelance Directors, Photographers, and top-notch Crew.

From first briefing and pre-production meetings, through to being on set during set builds and lengthy shoots, my responsibility is to be a reassuring presence, so both client and crew are happy throughout.
